Radium Dry Break Probe Cover | Universal (15-0004)

The probe lives in the trailer between sessions, which is exactly where it collects the grit that ends up in your fuel cell.

The Radium Engineering dry break probe cover slips over a 1.5 inch male dry break probe like a sock, protecting the dynamic sealing elements from dirt and debris while the dump can is stored or carried. Made from polyurethane leather, so it neither dries out nor absorbs water and wipes clean, with an internal elastic band that keeps it on the probe in high winds and an integrated handle for pulling it off in one motion.

The Details

A dry break seals by meshing two precision valve faces, so anything on the probe when it couples goes straight into the cell. This cover is the cheapest insurance in the system. For the other half of the coupling, the vehicle side receiver, the 20-0604 vented dust cap does the same job.
