If your Radium catch can sits somewhere you cannot easily unscrew the reservoir, emptying it becomes a chore you postpone, which defeats the point of running one. The Radium Engineering Catch Can Petcock Drain Kit adds a ball valve on a hose run to the can's 4AN ORB bottom port, so you drain from wherever you route the valve, no disassembly required. Turn the valve, catch the contents, done.

The Details

Installation is simple: remove the 4AN ORB plug from the bottom of the catch can, thread in the included barb fitting, and run hose to wherever you want the valve to live. Cut the first section to set the petcock's location, cut the second to set the draining point, often routed toward the underside of the car, and secure both at the valve with the spring clamps. From then on, emptying the can means opening the valve over a drain pan. One honest caveat Radium states plainly: vehicle-specific catch can kits mount in tight quarters, and many do not have room below the can for the fitting, hose, and valve. Check the clearance under your can before ordering. Universal and competition can installs with open space below are the natural fit.
