Description

When the port sits behind a bracket, every millimeter of adapter length is a millimeter you do not have.

The Radium Engineering 8AN ORB to 3/8in SAE male short fitting adapts an 8AN ORB port to a 3/8 inch SAE quick connect male on a shortened body, for installations where a standard-length adapter would not clear surrounding components or would push the hose route into something. Machined from billet aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection.

The Details

SAE quick connect sizing is measured by the outside diameter of the male fitting: 0.375 inch is 3/8, 0.3125 is 5/16. Measure rather than guessing, since the two look similar and do not interchange. Always lubricate the mating O-rings with a light amount of oil before installing; dry assembly is the most common cause of a nicked O-ring and a weep. If the outlet needs to be clocked to a specific angle instead, the 20-1000-08375 swivel banjo covers the same conversion.
