Description
The 16mm SAE connector is everywhere on European engines and almost nowhere in an AN catalog.
The Radium Engineering 8AN ORB to 16mm SAE male fitting adapts an 8AN ORB port to a 16mm SAE quick connect male, bridging AN plumbing to the large-diameter quick connects common on European crankcase ventilation and fuel systems. Machined from billet aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection.

The Details
SAE quick connect sizing is measured by the outside diameter of the male fitting, so confirm the size before ordering rather than guessing from hose diameter. Always lubricate the mating O-rings with a light amount of oil before installing; dry assembly is the most common cause of a nicked O-ring and a weep. For applications where the outlet needs to be clocked to a specific angle, the 20-1000-0816S swivel banjo version covers the same thread and SAE combination.
