The Radium Engineering 6AN ORB with 10mm Barb to 6AN Male Bulkhead Fitting is a specialist: it threads into a 6AN ORB port carrying a 10mm hose barb on the inboard side for internal pump hose, passes through as a bulkhead, and presents a 6AN male flare on the outboard side for external plumbing. The in-tank translator that surge tank and hanger architectures are built around.

The Details

In-tank plumbing has its own rules, and this fitting follows them: the internal barb takes submersible-rated hose from the pump outlet, secured with proper clamps since ordinary fuel hose degrades from the outside-in when submerged, while the ORB seal keeps the port liquid-tight and the external 6AN flare services like any AN joint. Typical homes include surge tank lids, hanger top hats, and custom in-tank assemblies where a pump's output must exit the fuel environment cleanly. O-ring lubricated at install; external flare connections dry, hand tight plus 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Sold individually.
