A metered orifice where a plain fitting would let the surge tank return run wild.
The Radium Engineering 6AN ORB to 6AN male FST orifice fitting threads into a 6AN ORB port and presents a 6AN male outlet with a calibrated restriction inside, controlling return flow on fuel surge tank plumbing where an unrestricted path would defeat the tank's purpose. Machined from billet aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection.

The Details
This is a metering part, not a plain adapter. On a fuel surge tank the orifice sizes the bleed or return path so the tank stays full under demand instead of simply passing fuel through. Fit it where Radium's surge tank instructions call for an orifice; substituting an unrestricted 6AN fitting will change how the system behaves. Always lubricate the mating O-rings with a light amount of oil before installing.
