Radium 6AN Male To 3/8in Spring Lock Male | Universal (20-1766)

Ford and GM spring lock lines do not accept AN fittings, and cutting them off is not the answer.

The Radium Engineering 6AN male to 3/8in spring lock male fitting converts a 3/8 inch female spring lock line to 6AN male, letting AN plumbing tie into a factory spring lock circuit without modifying the OEM hard line. Machined from 6061 aluminum, anodized for corrosion resistance, with integrated FKM O-rings compatible with gasoline and alcohol fuels including E85.

The Details

Check which half your factory line presents before ordering. This fitting mates to a female spring lock line; if your line ends in a male nipple, you want the 14-0766 instead. Connecting is straightforward: lubricate the O-rings on the male fitting well, insert until you hear an audible click, then tug the joint to confirm it has locked. Separating requires a spring lock disconnect tool, slid along the female fitting and pushed into the male fitting to release the internal spring; never pull a spring lock apart. The 1/2 inch equivalent of this fitting is 20-1767.
