Description

Forty five degrees is the angle that solves the routes ninety degrees overshoots.

The Radium Engineering 5/16in SAE female to 45 degree 3/8in barb fitting connects to a 5/16 inch SAE quick connect male on the vehicle and turns forty five degrees into a 3/8 inch barb, stepping up hose size and changing direction in a single fitting. Machined from billet aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection.

The Details

SAE quick connect sizing is measured by the outside diameter of the male fitting: 0.3125 inch is 5/16, 0.3750 is 3/8. Measure rather than guessing, since the two look nearly identical and do not interchange. Always lubricate the mating O-rings with a light amount of oil before installing. Secure the barb end with a proper fuel injection clamp. If the hose is 5/16 rather than 3/8, use 14-0885.
