Description

Some factory male fittings sit deeper than standard, and a normal adapter will not seat on them.

The Radium Engineering 5/16in SAE female deep to 5/16in barb fitting connects to a 5/16 inch SAE quick connect male using a deeper female socket, reaching connectors that a standard-depth adapter cannot fully engage, and terminates in a matching 5/16 inch hose barb. Machined from billet aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection.

The Details

Reach for this version when a standard 5/16 female adapter bottoms out or will not latch on a recessed male fitting. SAE quick connect sizing is measured by the outside diameter of the male fitting: 0.3125 inch is 5/16. Always lubricate the mating O-rings with a light amount of oil before installing. Secure the barb end with a proper fuel injection clamp.
