Description

A 3/4 inch hose does not bend tightly, so the fitting has to do the turning for it.

The Radium Engineering 3/4in SAE female to 90 degree 3/4in barb fitting connects to a 3/4 inch SAE quick connect male on the vehicle and turns ninety degrees into a matching 3/4 inch hose barb, keeping large diameter vent and filler plumbing tight to the tank or chassis where a straight fitting would force a wide, kink-prone loop. Machined from billet aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection.

The Details

SAE quick connect sizing is measured by the outside diameter of the male fitting on the vehicle, so confirm the size before ordering. Always lubricate the mating O-rings with a light amount of oil before installing; dry assembly is the most common cause of a nicked O-ring and a weep. Secure the barb end with a proper fuel injection clamp. The straight version of this conversion is 14-0926.
