Sometimes the hose has to turn immediately, and a straight barb puts the bend right where there is no room for one.

The Radium Engineering 12mm SAE female to 90 degree 3/8in barb fitting connects to a 12mm SAE quick connect male on the vehicle side and turns the hose ninety degrees to a 3/8 inch barb, keeping the run tight against the tank, firewall, or valve cover instead of looping out into whatever sits next to it. Machined from billet aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection.

The Details

SAE quick connect sizing is measured by the outside diameter of the male fitting on the vehicle, so confirm the size before ordering rather than guessing from hose diameter. Always lubricate the mating O-rings with a light amount of oil before installing; dry assembly is the most common cause of a nicked O-ring and a weep. Secure the barb end with a proper fuel injection clamp rather than a worm gear clamp.
