Description

A half inch quick connect feeding 5/16 hose is a step down most catalogs skip.

The Radium Engineering 1/2in SAE female to 5/16in barb fitting connects to a 1/2 inch SAE quick connect male on the vehicle and terminates in a 5/16 inch hose barb, adapting a large factory connector down to smaller hose for sensor, vent, or auxiliary runs. Machined from billet aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection.

The Details

SAE quick connect sizing is measured by the outside diameter of the male fitting on the vehicle: 0.5000 inch is 1/2. Confirm before ordering rather than guessing from hose diameter. Always lubricate the mating O-rings with a light amount of oil before installing. Secure the barb end with a proper fuel injection clamp, and keep in mind that the 5/16 barb is the flow restriction in this combination.
