The Haltech Nexus S2/S3 Plug 'n' Play Adapter Harness for the Mazda RX-7 FD Series 6 sits between the factory engine harness and a Nexus S2 or S3 ECU. One end carries the FD's two-row factory ECU connectors, the other plugs straight into the Nexus, so the factory loom stays untouched and the swap is fully reversible. A typical install is a few hours, not a weekend of pinouts and splices.

The Details

Part number HT-186338. This adapter is for the FD3S Series 6 (1992-1995) RX-7 with the two-row factory ECU plug and a manual transmission only. Series 7 and Series 8 cars (1996-2002) use a different ECU connector and need the Series 7/8 adapter (HT-186339). The harness connects to the factory loom, the Nexus ECU, and the supplied air temp sensor; any additional sensors (wideband, fuel and oil pressure) wire in through the auxiliary I/O plug.
