The Details

The ID2600-XDS is the highest flow injector Bosch offers and flows 50 percent more than the ID1700x. It was developed specifically for liquid fuels, with corrosion resistant internals for long term ethanol and methanol use. Dual Slope Matching is the difference maker here: matched on static flow alone, injectors this size deviate around plus or minus 5.1 percent at low pulse widths, while Dual Slope Matching brings that down to plus or minus 1.4 percent. One thing to know going in: it needs a minimum of 11 volts and is not compatible with ethers like MTBE or with nitromethane. Every set ships flow matched, and Injector Dynamics publishes full characterization data, including slope, offset (dead time) versus voltage and pressure, and short pulse width behavior, so your tuner can load real numbers instead of chasing fuel trims across the map. Accurate dead times are what make large injectors behave at idle and cruise, and they are the reason these tune quickly and stay tuned. This is an application-specific part number with machined fitment hardware, so it drops in without guessing at adapters.
