The Haltech Elite 1500 + Mazda Miata (MX-5) NA Plug'n'Play Adaptor Harness Kit pairs the Elite 1500 ECU with the vehicle-specific plug 'n' play adaptor harness. One side of the adaptor carries the factory ECU connectors, the other plugs into the Elite, so the Elite 1500 drops in where the stock ECU sat and the factory loom is never touched. It suits NA 1.6L and 1.8L cars with the two-plug, two-row factory ECU and a manual transmission. USDM OBD-II cars (1996-1997) are not supported.

The Elite 1500 is a two-connector standalone with drive-by-wire, control of up to four variable cams, knock control, long-term learning and the full Elite race function set, sized for four-cylinder and two-rotor engines. It is tuned in Haltech's NSP software, the same package used by the Nexus range.

• Does not support USDM OBDII 96-97, Special Edition SE and Anniversary models
• All manual transmission 1.6L variants will require the factory throttle position sensor to be unplugged and removed
• A full-range throttle position sensor alternative must be installed for correct functionality
• Failure to do so will result in erratic behavior of the ECU at wide-open throttle along with damage to the ECU
