Haltech R35 Coil Bracket Kit for Ford Barra 4.0

This kit converts a Ford Barra 4.0 inline six from the factory coils to genuine Hitachi R35 GTR ignition coils in one order: the billet coil bracket, all six coils with their mating connectors, pins, and seals, and the mounting hardware to fit everything. R35 coils are the proven high output coil-on-plug upgrade for boosted Barra builds, with built-in ignitors and consistent spark at power levels the factory coils cannot support.

The bracket is the same HT-120102 piece sold separately: 6061-T6 billet aluminum, anodized black with the Haltech logo, locating all six coils correctly on the engine.

• 6 x genuine Hitachi R35 ignition coils (HT-020106) with mating connectors, pins, and seals

Compatibility

• Wire the coils into your existing loom using the supplied connectors and pins, or add the labelled R35 coil sub-harness if you run a Haltech terminated engine harness
• R35 coils are smart coils with built-in ignitors; make sure your ECU dwell settings are configured for R35 coils before firing the engine

Important Notes

• Rocker cover fitment matters: the bracket only fits the FG rocker cover. The FG cover does fit BA and BF engines, so BA/BF builds need to run the FG cover to use this kit.
• Running a Haltech terminated harness? Only the HT-120205 kit is required for a full conversion, since it adds the labelled R35 coil sub-harness that plugs into the ignition breakout on the main harness.
• Already have coils? The bracket-only option is HT-120102.
