Transmission

The 2JZ-GTE cars did not get the standard A340E. Toyota fitted the A341E, the heavy-duty member of the same A340 family, with a longer input shaft and a larger pump and converter to survive the turbo motor's torque. The automatic chassis uses a different engine-bay connector layout than the manual, which is why this harness carries its own part number. Check the code stamped on the transmission ID plate before ordering — if the car is a manual, you want the manual-transmission harness instead.
