Splicing push-lock hose through a pair of hose ends and a union is three fittings doing one fitting's job. The Finish Line Factory Push Lock Barb Joiner is the one fitting: the same barbs as the FLF Push Lock Hose Ends on both sides, in 1/2 Barb, 1/4 Barb, 3/4 Barb, 3/8 Barb, 5/16 Barb, 5/8 Barb, so joining two hoses is as easy as pushing them together. The solution to a silly problem.

The Details

Push-lock barbs grip the hose ID so aggressively that on proper push-lock hose the joint holds without a clamp, and putting those barbs on both ends of one body makes hose-to-hose joining exactly that simple: square cuts, a touch of assembly lube, and a firm push to the center stop from each side. The lane matches the hose ends: breathers, coolant overflow, catch cans, low-pressure fuel, air. Removal usually means cutting the hose, so measure before the final shove, and for high-pressure duty step up to braided hose with AN unions instead.
