The Finish Line Factory Male AN to Male AN Reducer joins two female hose ends of different sizes, with male flares from 6AN, 8AN, 10AN, 12AN on one end and 4AN, 6AN, 8AN, 10AN on the other. Works with any automotive fluid including oil, water, coolant, and all fuels including E85. The size change happens in one machined part instead of a pile of adapters.

The Details

Seals metal to metal on the 37 degree AN flare, no sealant, no tape, ever. A reducer earns its place anywhere the system changes size between two hose runs: pump outlet to filter, filter to rail, feed line stepping down to a return. One machined transition beats stacking a union and a step adapter, because every extra joint is a leak candidate and a wrench-clearance problem. Size changes cost a little flow area by definition, so step down where the flow demand allows it, typically on returns, vents, and downstream branches, rather than choking a feed. Back the fitting with an aluminum wrench while torquing each hose end so the two connections tighten independently.
