Heat protection sleeve only works if hot air cannot creep in at the ends. The Finish Line Factory Heat Shrink Sealing Tube (1 Foot Roll) closes the door: paired to work over both the fitting and the heat sleeve, sealing the terminus, in 22 mm, 25 mm, 35 mm, 40 mm, 45 mm diameters. Leaving ends exposed lets heat and elements reach the hose; shrinking them shut finishes the armor.

The Details

Insulation systems fail at their boundaries: an open sleeve end lets convective hot air migrate up the annulus between sleeve and hose, exactly the exposure the sleeve was bought to stop, and it invites fluids and grit to wick in and stay. Shrinking a sealing tube over the junction of fitting and sleeve closes that path while mechanically anchoring the sleeve against creep. Cut pieces square (the cutting guide exists for this), size the diameter to shrink down over the largest element it must grab, and apply heat evenly until the tube conforms. The roll format cuts to exactly the pieces each project needs.
