The Details

Flex fuel sensors sit inline in the fuel system, and an unmounted sensor loads its own fittings with every vibration cycle, exactly where quick connects least appreciate it. Bracketing the body to structure removes that load: the sensor holds still, the lines connect strain-free, and the ethanol reading feeds the ECU from a part that is not swinging. The extended version bridges to mounting points a panel-hugging bracket cannot reach; either way, place the sensor per your tuner's plumbing preference, commonly in the return or feed per setup, and mount away from direct exhaust heat.
