The Details

A 120 degree body reaches past a right angle to double the hose back without folding it, useful when the port aims away from where the line must travel. A crimped end trades reusability for absolute retention: the sleeve is cold-formed around the hose to a specified diameter, and once formed it will not loosen, back off, or vibrate free. That makes crimp ends the pick for lines that live in vibration and heat, and for builders who want the factory-hose look without exposed threads. Correct assembly means cutting the hose square, seating it to full depth against the nipple stop, and crimping to the published diameter for the size, verified with calipers. The AN connection itself still seals dry on the 37 degree flare, no sealant. Fittings can be rebuilt after a hose retires using FLF replacement sleeves, so the machined body is a long-term investment rather than a consumable.
