A banjo joint is a sandwich: fitting between two crush washers, drawn tight by a drilled bolt that also carries the flow. The Finish Line Factory Banjo Bolt (Metric) is that bolt, in metric thread pitches from M10x1.0 thread up, with head sizes and lengths matched to real-world banjo hardware. Fresh bolt, fresh washers, sealed joint.

The Details

Banjo joints seal on their crush washers, not on threads, which changes the rules: new washers at every assembly, clean flat mating faces, and torque sufficient to crush the washers evenly without stretching the bolt. The bolt itself is hollow with cross-drilled passages, so flow rides through it; match the thread precisely, because a near-miss pitch will thread in and then strip out under torque. Length matters as much as thread: too short and engagement suffers, too long and the bolt bottoms before the washers crush. Stacked double-banjo setups need the longer under-head lengths listed. Pair with FLF aluminum crush washers in the matching sizing and the joint seals the way banjo joints are supposed to.
