Description

Fuel pumps push one way; the plumbing should not let anything come back.

EFI systems hate losing prime and residual pressure. The Finish Line Factory AN to Metric Check Valve for EFI Fuel Pumps holds the line: one-way flow control constructed from high-quality CNC-machined aluminum, threading onto M12x1.5 pump outlets with a male AN flare in 06 AN, 08 AN. Great for fuel, oil, water, or air. The pump stops; the pressure stays.

Benefits

  • Hot starts fire like cold starts because the rail never bled down
  • The valve threads onto the pump outlet as its own compact fitting
  • Flow direction is enforced by the part, not by hope
  • Twin-pump systems stop back-feeding through the idle pump

Features

  • One-way check valve for directional flow control
  • High-quality CNC-machined aluminum construction
  • Pump thread: M12x1.5; AN outlet: 06 AN, 08 AN
  • Suits EFI fuel pump outlets (common metric thread)
  • Also usable in oil, water, and air systems
  • Sold individually

The Details

Check valves in fuel service do quiet, constant work: holding residual rail pressure after shutdown so restarts are instant, preventing tank-ward drain-back through the pump, and isolating parallel pumps so an idle pump is not a leak path for its running twin. This one lives at the pump outlet, where the metric thread meets it directly and the AN flare carries on to the feed line, sealing dry on the 37 degree cone. Mind the flow arrow at install, confirm the valve's cracking behavior suits the system during initial prime, and remember every check valve is a small restriction; on max-effort systems, account for it in feed sizing.
