Plumbing a fuel cell means AN lines outside and hose-clamp reality inside, usually with an in-tank pump crowding the space. The Finish Line Factory AN to Barb Fuel Cell Bulkhead (90 Degree) passes through the tank wall with a male AN flare outside in 6AN and a 3/8 Barb, 5/16 Barb barb inside, turned 90 degrees to clear the pump and hanger hardware. Run AN from the cell straight to the rail and back.

The Details

Sealing at the tank wall happens at the bulkhead's clamped joint, so the wall hole must be clean and round, the clamping faces flat, and a washer used against thin cell walls. The 90 degree barb exists because in-tank clearance is brutal: hanging straight down often lands on the pump body, while the elbow runs hose along the wall. Inside, use submersible-rated in-tank fuel hose only, since ordinary hose degrades soaking in fuel from the outside in, and clamp it with fuel-rated clamps. Outside, the flare seals dry like any AN joint. Hold the fitting flats while torquing the bulkhead nut, and orient the barb before final clamp-up because it will not rotate after.
