Sometimes the other end of the system still speaks plain rubber hose.

AN plumbing meets barb-and-clamp plumbing on almost every build, usually at a pump, cooler, or OEM component. The Finish Line Factory AN to Barb Adapter makes the handoff: a female AN swivel in 6AN, 8AN, 10AN on one side, a machined barb for 3/8" Barb, 5/16" Barb, 1/2" Barb, 5/8" Barb hose on the other. Ideal for oil, water, and air delivery. Two hose worlds, one honest fitting between them.

The Details

Seals metal to metal on the 37 degree AN flare, no sealant, no tape, ever. The barb side follows barb rules: the hose ID must match the barb size exactly, the clamp belongs just behind the barb ridge, and worm-gear or constant-tension styles beat spring clips for anything that matters. Barbed joints are honest at modest pressure, which makes this adapter right for cooler lines, water plumbing, breathers, and air, and wrong as a shortcut for high pressure fuel, where a full AN hose end should carry the load. Assemble the AN side first with the swivel nut, then push the hose home; done in the other order the hose torque fights you the whole way.
