Gauges, senders, and reference feeds all want a port the system never planned for. The Finish Line Factory AN Male Union with 1/8" NPT Port Adapter - 45 Degree adds one inline: male AN flares both ends in 6AN, 8AN, CNC machined from high-quality 6061 aluminum, with a 1/8" NPT side port on a 45 degree body. Tap the line for pressure, temperature, or a feed without touching the tank or rail.

The Details

The 45 degree body folds the port into a corner the routing already needed. Inline port fittings put the measurement where it means something: fuel pressure read at the rail inlet, oil temperature in the actual flow, a clean tap for a boost or vacuum feed. Seals metal to metal on the 37 degree AN flare, no sealant, no tape, ever. The 1/8" NPT port, by contrast, is a tapered joint and wants sealant on the sender threads, applied off the lead thread so nothing sheds into the system. Plug the port with an NPT plug if the sensor comes later; the fitting still earns its place as plumbing. Back the body with a wrench while torquing hose ends and again while torquing the sender, because the port thread should never react assembly loads.
