Passing a hose through sheet metal without a proper fitting is how lines chafe through and systems die young. The Finish Line Factory 90 Degree Bulkhead Adapter mounts through the panel with a shoulder and nut, presenting male AN flares with a built-in 90 degree turn on one side, in 6AN, 8AN, 10AN. The panel becomes an anchor and the pass-through becomes two clean, serviceable connections.

The Details

A bulkhead splits every pass-through into three solved problems: the panel joint, which is mechanical and clamped; and two hose connections, which seal dry on their 37 degree flares like any AN joint. The 90 degree version answers the usual next problem, that the space behind a firewall rarely allows a straight hose approach; the turn happens inside the fitting where no bend radius is at risk. Drill the panel to the fitting's shank size, deburr both faces, and clamp with the nut over a washer so thin metal stays flat, holding the fitting flats so it cannot spin. From then on, either side's hose can come off for service without disturbing the other, which is the whole quiet genius of bulkhead plumbing.
