Swapping a racing wheel into a modern Toyota usually means saying goodbye to cruise control, media buttons, and every function the factory put at your thumbs. The Zestek Racing USA SCX Pro Racing Steering Wheel Hub for Toyota keeps all of it, using a vehicle-specific OEM Adapter to maintain CAN communication with the car, and then goes further than the SCX: a second fully custom CAN bus for aftermarket devices, direct standalone ECU integration, two 0-5V analog outputs and four low-side auxiliary outputs, so the hub can run OEM functions and your aftermarket electronics at the same time. Dual-stage RGB buttons, V2.0 magnetic paddle shifters and the VeloLink 2.4G wireless system carry over, the included Velo OBD module streams live vehicle data to the hub's feedback lights, and a 100% woven carbon fiber front panel over an aerospace-grade PA66 housing keeps it light and rigid. Factory function and full aftermarket control on one race car interface.

The Details

The SCX Pro works because the electronics are built around your specific car. Select your make and model and the hub is matched with the OEM Adapter for that chassis; the adapter chip sits concealed inside the rear of the quick release, where it handles CAN communication with the vehicle, so factory functions pass through the hub instead of dying with the old wheel. The Pro's second CAN bus runs your aftermarket devices and standalone ECU on their own line instead of competing with the OEM channel. Wireless expansion runs over Zestek's VeloLink 2.4G link, which is how the included Velo OBD module gets live engine data onto the hub's feedback lights without extra wiring. Configuration and firmware updates run through Zestek's Work Station software. Mounting requires the vehicle-specific Zestek Racing Boss Kit for your Toyota, sold separately, which bolts to the steering column and routes the hub wiring. Installation involves removing the factory wheel, so on a street-driven car be aware the driver airbag and clockspring functions are affected. Professional installation through an authorized Zestek shop is recommended for system integration.

Motorsport Cable Add-On: the Motorsport Grade Universal Cable is a sealed motorsport connector and lead for wiring the hub directly. It is required if you are not wiring through the factory clock spring (clock spring deleted, race car, or a standalone install). Leave it at No if you are keeping the factory clock spring.
