Competition sanctioning bodies require certified cells for a reason: the tank is the part of the car you never want tested by an accident. The Radium Engineering RA-Series Fuel Cell is designed and manufactured by Radium to meet the top safety requirements set by FIA and SFI, built around a seamless polymer bladder resistant to ALL fuel types (gasoline, diesel, AV gas, E15, E85, ethanol, methanol) and filled with explosion suppressing anti-slosh foam. The bladder lives inside a lightweight powder coated aluminum enclosure with an anodized nut ring, removable inspection plate, FKM gaskets, and a Certification of Conformance in the box. Five sizes from 6 to 22 gallons cover road racing, time attack, drifting, rally, off-road, and endurance duty.

The Details

The bladder is the heart of the system, the tested and certified component, while the aluminum enclosure protects it from damage and provides the mounting structure, a division of labor that is exactly how top-level cells are built. Capacity figures are honest approximations, since manufacturing processes vary actual volume slightly within each size's stated range, and the 10.5 gallon version is shaped for spare tire well installations. Plan the whole system before ordering: the 24-bolt lid pattern accepts Radium's FCST-X surge tank (shipped assembled when purchased together) or Radium's carbon fiber lids, and level senders, fill caps, and pickup hardware complete the installation. Two purchasing notes Radium states plainly: all fuel cell sales are FINAL with no returns or exchanges, so measure carefully prior to ordering, and international customers should arrange shipping quotes in advance.
