The Radium Engineering 4AN ORB to 8mm Barb Fitting threads into any female 4AN ORB (7/16"-20) port, seals on its O-ring, and presents an 8mm hose barb for clamped metric hose. Its natural habitat is the 4AN drain port on Radium catch cans and small vent connections where full AN plumbing is more than the job needs.

The Details

The ORB side follows the family rule, O-ring lubricated before installation and no sealant, while the barb side wants fuel-and-oil-rated 8mm ID hose pushed fully home and secured with a spring or EFI-style clamp rather than a slotted worm clamp. On Radium catch cans, this fitting turns the bottom drain port into a routed drain line, useful where the can mounts somewhere the reservoir cannot easily unscrew in place; the petcock drain kit is the valved alternative for the same port. Sold individually.
