Description

Forty five degrees is the angle that solves the routes ninety degrees overshoots.

The Radium Engineering 5/16in SAE female to 45 degree 5/16in barb fitting connects to a 5/16 inch SAE quick connect male on the vehicle and turns forty five degrees into a matching 5/16 inch barb, easing the hose around an obstacle without doubling it back on itself. Machined from billet aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection.

The Details

SAE quick connect sizing is measured by the outside diameter of the male fitting: 0.3125 inch is 5/16, 0.3750 is 3/8. Measure rather than guessing, since the two look nearly identical and do not interchange. Always lubricate the mating O-rings with a light amount of oil before installing. Secure the barb end with a proper fuel injection clamp. If the hose is 3/8 rather than 5/16, use 14-0886.
