Radium 16AN ORB Fittings | Universal (14-0698 / 14-0699 / 14-1194)

16AN is where vent and fill plumbing lives, and the fittings for it are hard to find in quality.

These Radium Engineering 16AN ORB fittings adapt the large 1-5/16in-12 ORB ports found on charcoal canisters, fuel cell vents, and fill plumbing to barbs, bulkheads, and smaller AN sizes. ORB ports seal on an O-ring rather than tapered pipe thread, so they seal reliably and can be re-torqued without compounding.

Choose Your Fitting

• 16AN ORB male to 10AN ORB female coupler (14-0698): steps a 16AN port down to accept 10AN ORB fittings
• 16AN ORB with 1in barb to 16AN male bulkhead (14-0699): passes through a panel with a 1in hose barb on one side
• 16AN ORB to 3/4in hose barb (14-1194): direct 3/4in barb for vent or fill hose

The Details

The 14-0698 coupler is the one to reach for when a 16AN port needs to carry standard 10AN plumbing, which is common when adapting a vent canister into an existing fuel system. The 14-0699 is a bulkhead, so it is the right part when the line has to pass through a firewall, floor pan, or tank wall rather than simply terminate. The 14-1194 is the simplest of the three: a 3/4in barb straight off the port for vent hose.

These sizes appear on Radium's charcoal canisters, which use two 16AN ORB female ports, so any of these can be used to plumb one into a vent system.
