Why It Matters

A harness built and terminated for the application means the electrical side of the engine is a known quantity: correct pinouts, proper terminations, and circuits you can trace by label when something needs diagnosing. Carbureted-era V8s converted to EFI gain cold start manners, altitude compensation, and fueling accuracy no carb can match, while keeping the character that matters.
