OEM fuel systems standardized on quick connects, aftermarket plumbing standardized on AN, and every hybrid build meets in the middle. The Finish Line Factory AN to Quick Connect Male - 90 Degree is the meeting point: a machined male quick connect end in 5/16" Male, 3/8" Male that factory female connectors click onto, with a male AN flare in 6AN, 8AN. The 90 degree body folds the connection into tight quarters. Machined from 100% 6061 aluminum, far stronger than the plastic adapters that crack at exactly the wrong time.

The Details

SAE quick connects seal on an internal o-ring riding the male tube's polished surface, with a sprung retainer providing the lock; that is why engagement must click and why a pull test after every connection is cheap insurance. Being the male half, this fitting presents the polished tube profile factory female connectors expect, in true SAE geometry. The AN side seals dry on the 37 degree flare, standard practice. The 90 degree geometry earns its keep on flex fuel sensors and rail ends buried against firewalls. For E85-heavy builds, confirm o-ring health at service intervals like any QC, and route so the connector never carries hose weight in bending; quick connects lock axially, not as cantilevers.
